A little bit about me and my practice
My journey as a Counsellor and Supervisor is informed by over a decade of experience supporting adults, individuals, and couples from diverse backgrounds. Rooted in a robust and collaborative Relational approach, my work explores how past experiences, particularly unmet childhood needs, resurface and affect your present life. My dedication is strengthened by personal experience navigating trauma and Narcissistic abuse, bringing profound empathy to the therapeutic space. Counselling is a process focused on the person; it is your autonomy that is embraced and validated.
I am Trauma and Attachment-Informed, offering support for relationship issues, loss, self-esteem, family estrangement, family dynamics and communication issues. I have a significant focus on being ADHD informed, offering both counselling and coaching.
My work is to integrate what I observe in the room with the client’s history, culture, relationships, and lived environment, holding the space rather than rushing to provide answers. Therapy is a human co-regulation, which includes attunement and trust, and these are central mechanisms of change. As your therapist, I respond not only to words, but to tone, pauses, body language, and emotional shifts.
I hold an MNCPS Accr. (NCS14-00714) I am a Professional Standards Authority-registered member. My qualifications include Adv.Dip.Psych. Counselling and Adv.Dip. Couple Therapy NCPS Accr. I also provide Clinical Supervision. I welcome Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diversity in all my services.
